Bhavana, the Malayalam film actress now have many successful films in Tamil. Her first film was "Nammal" which was Directed By Kamal.She is the winner of two Kerala State Film Awards.
She debuted in Malayalam film Nammal opposite newcomers like Siddharth, Jishnu and Renuka Menonand the film was a big success.
Her films "Udayananu Tharam", "Chanthupottu" and "Naran" turned out to be blockbusters and "Daivanamathil" was critically acclaimed. She got the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress for Daivanamathil in 2006.
Her biggest Malayalam blockbuster movie is Chotta Mumbai.Her first Tamil film originally offered was Koodal Nagar opposite Bharath but shelved due to some technical difficulties, but completed and released in April 2007. Her first released Tamil film Chithiram Pesuthadi with Malayali Actor Narain was a great success.
