Beautiful South Indian actress acted in several films in both Tamil and Telugu rose to fame in the Tamil industry with her roles in movies, Saamy and Ghilli and the Telugu industry with her movie, Varsham.




she signed up to enact the role of the leading actress in Priyadarshan's Leysa Leysa. She appeared in Mani Ratnam's Aayitha Ezhuthu which was remade into a hit Hindi movie Yuva.





Her glorious smile has stolen the hearts of thousands of teenagers.
She started her career in modeling and she was also model for many popular products such as Fair and Lovely, Pepsi and several jewelers.



She was the winner of the Miss Chennai competition conducted in the year 2000.





Her 2008 films, Bheema and Kuruvi failed to succeed at the box-office, whilst Krishna with Ravi Teja , opened to rave reviews. Her other projects include three Tamil films, Radhamohan's Abhiyum Naanum, Sarvam with Arya and a Gautham Menon film.



Trisha and Silambarasan next film film titled as Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. Silambarasan and Gautham Menon are going to join hands for the first time with this movie. A.R.Rahman is the music director of this film.
