The much awaited blockbuster movie of 2009, Kambath Ishque will release on the tenth day of July. The Bollywood film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala is a remake of the 2002 Tamil film Pammal K. Sambandam. The film will feature Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in pivotal roles along with actors Aftab Shivdasani and Amrita Arora in supporting roles. In the tamil version, “Pammal K Sambandham”, Kamal Hasan played the leading role with Simran.

Hollywood actors Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh will be appearing in cameos, reportedly playing themselves. According to the producer Nadiadwala, "It is not a music video but a song that we will use as an integral part of the film. It will occur close to the film's interval. It will also be the first promotional song."
