Ileana D'Cruz,has emerged one of the most successful actresses in the Telugu film industry, having appeared in several blockbusters like Devadasu, Pokiri, Jalsa and Kick.
She made her feature film debut through Y.V.S. Chowdhary's Telugu-language film "Devadasu" opposite newcomer, Ram. The film did not get good reviews from the critics, but it was a success at the box-office and Ileana attracted a lot of attention for her charm and beauty.
Her breakthrough came with her second Telugu film where she essayed the role of Shruti opposite Mahesh Babu in the highly successful Pokiri,in which she has done the role of an aerobic teacher. Her 2009 film against Ravi Teja, titled Kick was declared a hit at the box office, following which she starred in the films Rechipo and YVS Choudary's Saleem.
