Megastar Mohanlal won fifth Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair Memorial National Award for his contributions to Indian cinema. Mohanlal would receive the award at Thiruvananthapuram at a function to be held during the last week of December.
The actor, who surprised everybody with his flexible acting skills,has won four National Film Awards, nine Kerala State Film Awards, and ten Filmfare Awards.
